The guys welcome former Major Leaguer and Chicago native Moose Skowron to the studio. Moose recalls some of his favorite stories from his lengthy Major League career. Also, Chicago native Eddie Olczyk calls Robin and David to talk hockey.

Bearly Legal: Moose Skowron\'s stories

Former Major Leaguer Moose Skowron visits the studio and recalls stories of his playing days with the Yankees, Dodgers, Senators, and White Sox. He also talks about growing up in Chicago and how much it meant to him to hit a homerun at both Comiskey Park and Wrigley Field. In addition, he offers his thoughts on some current Major League players such as Vlad Guerrero and David Ortiz.

In this segment, the guys wrap up their conversation with Moose Skowron. Also, Robin talks about his charity work with the PAVE foundation. Robin also introduces his son, who serves in the military, to the radio audience.

Eddie Olczyk

Eddie Olczyk is a former head coach for the National Hockey League Pittsburgh Penguins and former center for Toronto Maple Leafs, Winnipeg Jets, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins. He currently serves as the color commentator for the Chicago Blackhawks, in addition to calling games for NBC and the NHL on Versus. He played 1,031 NHL games and produced 342 goals and 452 assists for a total of 794 points between 1984 and 2000.

Moose Skowron

Moose Skowron is a former Major League Baseball player, primarily a first baseman. He is currently a Community Relations Representative for the White Sox.

Skowron was born in Chicago, Illinois, and is of Polish descent. His father was a garbage collector. After his grandfather gave the seven year old Skowron a haircut that looked like the dictator\'s and his friends jokingly called him \"Mussolini\", his family shortened the nickname to \"Moose.\"[1] The name stuck throughout his career.

\"Moose\" attended Weber High School on the intersection of Division and Ashland in Chicago. He went to Purdue University on a football scholarship, but found himself better suited to baseball when he hit .500 as a sophomore, a record in the Big Ten Conference that lasted ten years.
