He joins David & Robin live in studio to tell some amazing stories about his time behind the counter at one of Chicago\'s most famous Hot Dog stands. Then - Robin catches up with his old teammate Kris Haines.

Kris Haines joins David & Robin to talk about his days playing college ball with Joe Montana at Notre Dame, his NFL and USFL career, and the upcoming Notre Dame Legends game in Japan.

Kris Haines caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Joe Montana as time expired to cap Notre Dame\'s 35-34 comeback victory over Houston in the 1979 Cotton Bowl. The Fighting Irish scored 23 unanswered points in the last 7½ minutes to rally from a 34-12 deficit. Both the quarterback and receiver who connected on that winning touchdown pass were battling illnesses. Montana had hypothermia that day and made it through the game only after consuming some chicken soup. Haines had a fever that prevented him from practicing in the days leading up to the game. He played in the NFL for in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins, the Chicago Bears, and the Buffalo Bills. He is currently a Physical Education teacher, Athletic coach, and Karate instructor at The Catherine Cook School in Chicago, IL.
