Talking Illini March 2nd Hour One

Mr. G gives us his first-hand account of the Michigan State Game, and why he felt the Illini lost. The guys also give us an update of some of the former Illini now playing in the NBA. Then, Herb Gould joins the program to clear up some rumors, dish on the impression Vontae Davis made at the NFL Scouting Combine, and to talk about the off-season development of some of the players on the Illinis football squad.

Talking Illini March 2nd Hour Two

The talk turns to hoops as Herb Gould talks about what being in the Top 25 means to the Illinis Tourney hopes, and where he thinks Bruce Webers squad will be seeded. Then Boz & Mr. G welcome Danny Hazen from End to End Magazine - a brand new magazine dedicated to covering the great state of Illinois boys high school basketball teams, coaches, and players. The guys wrap out the show with some news and notes, and they also have a message for some of those anonymous message board posters.

Herb Gould

Herb Gould has covered Illini athletics for the Chicago Sun-Times for more than 15 years. He also has written about the Blackhawks, Bears, Cubs, White Sox and Notre Dame extensively for the Sun-Times. A Chicago native, he holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin and Northwestern.
