Assistant Head Football Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Reggie Mitchell joins Boz & Mr. G to give us the scoop on the recently signed class of 2009. Then, the Voice of the Northwestern Wildcats, Dave Eanet, previews Thursdays basketball game.

Dave Eanet
Dave Eanet is the Sports Director and sports anchor on the Spike O\\\'Dell show. Dave celebrated the 10th anniversary of his second tenure at WGN in July of 2006. He began at WGN in October of 1984 and oversaw production of the Chicago Bears broadcasts in the 1985 Super Bowl season, before being named Assistant Program Director. He left WGN in 1988 but returned in 1996. While absent from WGN. Dave became the play-by-play voice of Northwestern Wildcat Football in 1990, and continued in that role when the games came back to WGN in 1996, following the Wildcats\\\' run to the Rose Bowl. He also handled play-by-play of DePaul basketball in 1997, and then became voice of Northwestern basketball. A 1977 Northwestern graduate, Dave was inducted as an honorary member of the Northwestern Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005. He was made an honorary member of the N Club, Northwestern\\\'s letterwinners\\\' organization, in 2002, and was honored by the Northwestern Gridiron Network with its Distinguished Service Award in 2000. Dave is also frequently seen anchoring sports on the WGN TV News at Nine, and has handled television play-by-play for Big 10 Womens Basketball, Chicago Bears and Chicago Rush football, Chicago Sky basketball, Chicago Bandits softball, and the Illinois high school basketball championships. Dave and his wife Karen are the proud parents of two young adults: Lindsay, a journalism student at the University of Missouri, and Steve, who attends high school. In 2005, Eanet was inducted as an honorary member of the Northwestern University Athletic Hall of Fame. He was made an honorary member of the N Club, Northwestern’s letterwinners’ organization, in 2002, and was honored by the Northwestern Gridiron Network with its Distinguished Service Award in 2000.
Reggie Mitchell
Reggie Mitchell begins his fourth season as assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator on the University of Illinois staff. With over 20 years of collegiate coaching experience, Mitchell led the Illini running back corps to its second-straight Big Ten rushing title, besting its league-best total from a year ago by nearly 1,000 yards. A Midwesterner hailing from Flint, Mich., Mitchell came to Illinois after six seasons at Michigan State and two years at Minnesota.
Much of Mitchell\'s experience has come on the offensive side of the ball, primarily as a running backs and wide receivers coach. In his six years at MSU, he tutored two NFL first-round draft picks in running back T.J. Duckett and receiver Plaxico Burress. A four-year starter as a running back at Central Michigan (1978-81), Mitchell rushed for 2,394 career yards and helped the Chippewas win back-to-back Mid-American Conference titles in 1979 and 1980. During his time in the starting lineup at CMU, the team posted a record of 35-6-1. He earned MVP honors in 1981 after gaining 1,068 yards. He received his bachelor\'s degree from CMU in parks and recreation in 1984. Mitchell was an all-state running back at Flint\'s Southwestern High School.
Mitchell has three children; a son, Kaeman, and two daughters, Karena and Jennifer, who is a 27-year-old police officer in East Lansing, Mich.
