Woodson and Pastor DeForest “Buster” Soaries, renowned for his ability to motivate and counsel young people, discuss the reasons so many youth have become disaffected and are turning to gangs and violence to substitute for a family structure and sense of belonging. They identify some effective ways that even older youth are being reached and transformed.

Bob and Buster converse about some unconventional way to fight youth violence, and explain why conventional solutions aren’t effective. They then talk about why people need to be made more aware of the problems, as well as the solutions, of youth violence.

Buster Soaries Part Three

Bob & Buster talk about why they feel the school system has been ineffective in the fight against youth violence, and also about the hidden industry built on the problem of youth violence. Plus, the 9/11 of the black community that no one seems to talk about, even though it happens over and over.
