Lawrence Furman Part Two

We welcome Lawrence Furman back to the program to share more of his personal story. He began having body journeys when he was 9 years old. But the freedom and joy those flights provided came into stark contrast when he began sinking into serious mental illness. After being treated with drugs, electroshock, and enforced isolation, hallmarks of the 1960\'s mental health care system, his condition only worsened. A cure seemed out of the question, until he died - three times. He will talk about his final two deaths on this episode.
