Don\'t Box Me In: Edna J White

Survivors of childhood sexual abuse experience a wide range of devastating and intense feelings. These may include feelings of fear, guilt, and shame. Each individual’s experiences and reactions are distinctive. Adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse often embrace survival strategies to protector against feelings of panic and powerlessness that they may have felt as a child. These past feelings can still have influence over the life and present behavior of an adult survivor. These present feelings have to be dealt with in the \"now\" to secure an abundant life in the future.

Edna J. White

Edna J White is an author, teacher and a consultant. Although these abilities were discovered much later in life, she expects wonderful things to continue happening to make up for that lost time. She enjoys long walks on the beach and family time as a mother of 3 wonderful children and 3 grandchildren. She\'s always known throughout life that writing was a gift, but not until an explosive 8 month stay in China did this come alive. Her first book was an illustrated children\'s book dedicated to ESL and her mandarin students. She currenlty resides on Long Island where she meets out many challenges with her 13 year real estate profession as a broker, continious consulting with the those surviving after sexual trauma. ~She believes that the services provided to enhance productivity for the whole person in the Spirit, soul and body.
