Up to The Minute: Julie Killian

Our guest Julie Killian is running for the New York State Senate in the 37th District. As a wife, a mom and one of six siblings, she knows what’s important to Westchester households – good education, a vibrant economy with plentiful jobs, keeping our children safe and off drugs and a clean environment.

Julie Killian has a strong professional and academic background, but it’s being a mother of five that best informs her for public office. As a wife and mother, she knows what’s important to Westchester households – good education, paying bills, a vibrant economy with plentiful jobs and keeping our children safe and off drugs. Her focus in the State Senate will remain fixed on those things.



Julie, one of six children herself, has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Finance from the New York University Stern School of Business. She had a 14-year career in finance at Merrill Lynch and Citibank and well understands where New York errs in spending and borrowing.
