Elder Care – Its Issues Are Being Mediated or Not

From 2014 to 2034, about 80 million people are expected to retire, and this wave of retirements is seen as a significant challenge for the Social Security and Medicare systems in the United States; and, about 4 million people retire every year, as of 2014 (Data from-Ask.com). That is a significant number of our population, that is leaving the workforce; and are aspiring to do other things in life or just relax. What about those individuals who are leaving the workforce, and they become ill and cannot go on to do other aspirations; and, unfortunately are resorting to live in Nursing Homes or other Healthcare Facilities, as they are in need of assistance. Are their needs being met? If not, how are their grievances or disputes with the facilities being handled? How is this affecting their families?
