Yes, today’s episode is named after a Public Enemy, but it’s for a reason. Through his work with the League of Dads, he’s discovered that where he comes from, the problems run deeper than just deadbeat dads and disgruntled moms. The climate of consciousness is wrong, and rap songs may be part of the problem. James Lewis, a friend from the neighborhood, helps put things into perspective.

Episode Segments

League of Dads: The New Rockerfellers

Christopher introduces us to League of Dads supporter James Lewis of James Lewis Enterprises. Like Christopher, they have made it out of the neighborhood, but still contribute by helping those in need. And he has also lesser men in the neighborhood being given things they don’t deserve by women who are just asking for problems.

League of Dads: The Poison of the Community

Rap songs are always talking about bitches and hos. And it seems like where Chris and James come from, women hear it, they see it, and they want to be it. And this attitude is poisoning the whole community. There just isn’t any respect going around.

League of Dads: Just My Thoughts

People won’t give you respect if they don’t like you. And Chris points out this is the same problem fathers run into with the courts all the time. Then - why disgruntled moms and deadbeat dads are just a symptom of a much bigger problem.
