Boston Blackie: Simmons Construction Murder

The Boston Blackie radio series had two incarnations, first as a summer 1944 replacement series for Amos \'n\' Andy, then a very successful 1945-1950 run, starring Richard Kollmar, with over 200 episodes produced. It was based on a fictional character created by Jack Boyle, who was a former safecracker turned detective. Boston Blackie used his underworld connections and his occult skills to solve crimes and outwit the police, especially Inspector Farraday, who always suspected him of wrongdoing. Today\'s broadcast is 11/29/1945.
