Ken Burns

Ken Burns has been making documentary films for more than 30 years. Since the Academy Award-nominated Brooklyn Bridge in 1981, he has gone on to direct and produce some of the most acclaimed historical documentaries ever made. Among his most notable productions are The Civil War (1990), Baseball (1994), Jazz (2001), The War (2007) and The National Parks (2009). Burns\\\'s documentaries have been nominated for two Academy Awards (Brooklyn Bridge in 1982 and The Statue of Liberty in 1986) and have won seven Emmy Awards.

Joseph Dispenza

Joseph Dispenza has studied spirituality firsthand, living eight years as a monk — one of those years in total silence. He is the author of a dozen other books and numerous articles on spirituality, a renowned retreat leader, and an accomplished public speaker on the subject of personal spirituality. For several years, he headed the education division of the American Film Institute and lectured in communication at American University in Washington, D.C. Later, he established a successful program in Moving Image Arts at the College of Santa Fe, and taught courses in media ethics. He is the co-founder and director of LifePath Retreats in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where he lives.
